HHA Class

This is 75 hour program designed to train students looking to get into the medical field as a home health aides. The training is a combination of instructor led classes, video instruction and in services.

Students will learn communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining a clean and healthy environment body mechanics, anatomy, infection control, safety in the home, privacy, basic assessment, client’s rights, HIPPA disease process, nutrition, confidentiality, care of chronically ill, emotional needs and personal care procedures.

This is a 3 week class offered once a month from 10 AM to 3 PM daily. Students must be at least 17 years old. Qualified students might be employed after training. Scholarships available for those who qualify.
