We offer morning and evening classes to accommodate the very busy working student looking to advance themselves in the healthcare industry and a possible job placement for students who successfully graduate and pass the state test in available positions in the community. We work with nursing homes, assisted living, hospitals, group homes and other home health agencies in the community.

The STNA program is a 75 hour classroom and clinical training program leading to the state certification test. Course material will cover infection control, communication and interpersonal skills, safety and emergency procedures, Residents rights and independence, basic nursing and personal care skill, mental health and social services needs, basic restorative services.

Program Requirements: You must be at least 17 years of age able to read and write. Must have proof of negative Mantoux skin test or chest X-ray within the past 6 months, good criminal background record and watch with second hand, complete physical within 90 days of registration and ability to lift 70 1bs. All required documents must be submitted on or before the first day of class.

Tuition is $475, Registration is $20(non refundable), a total of $495. Students must deposit $250 before the first day of class. Scholarship is available for those who qualify. All fees paid are non refundable after the first day of class.

The class hours for the morning are 10 am to 3.00pm Monday through Friday for three weeks and 5 pm to 10.00pm Monday through Friday for the evening class. Get the skills that give you a choice of employment. We give you more for your money.
